A system emerging from the Rockies will bring severe storms to the Central and Southern Plains as well as the Midwest later this afternoon through overnight. The best chance for very large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes will be across portions of Texas and Oklahoma.
Thursday this severe threat shifts to the Mississippi River Valley and Southeast.
