Finally some relief after record-setting heat and humidity this weekend. Temperatures will drop to more season averages over the next few days.
The cold front helping ease the heat will move into the Mid Atlantic and southeast today and tomorrow. Along this front, some strong to severe thunderstorms could produce heavy rain and flash flooding.
