Rain will spread across the South up into the Eastern U.S. today and tomorrow with a wintry mix for parts of New England.
A swath of snow will also move into the Northern Rockies and Northern Plains then crossing the Midwest, Great Lakes and the Interior Northeast through Wednesday. Winter storm advisories are posted ahead of this system.
Strong, gusty winds are in the forecast this week from the Great Basin into Southern California.
