Second Man Arrested in Gang Related Beating Death
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Police in Memphis have arrested a second man wanted in the beating death of an Arkansas college student who was being initiated in to a street gang.
The Commercial Appeal reported the arrest on Tuesday of 23-year-old Raymond Clark, who police identify as a member of the Bloods gang. Another gang member, 24-year-old Robert Barlow, was arrested last week.
Both men are charged with aggravated assault and reckless homicide in the May 22nd death of 22-year-old Keith Saulsberry -- a student the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. He was scheduled to graduate in December.
The medical examiner determined Saulberry died of head injuries about an hour after he was beaten.
