A homeless woman is facing charges for allegedly replacing a Massachusetts church's baby Jesus figurine with a pig's head on Christmas.

Fifty-four-year-old Amarellis Cermeno is scheduled to be arraigned Friday on charges including destruction to a place of worship, malicious destruction of property and larceny.

A priest at Sacred Hearts Roman Catholic church in Haverhill noticed the pig's head in the Nativity scene on Christmas morning. Police think Cermeno found the pig's head after it had been discarded by a family having a traditional Christmas pig roast.

She is currently undergoing a mental health evaluation after being arrested for allegedly scrawling "666" on another Haverhill church. Police said Wednesday she has "an obsession" with religious issues.
