Authorities in New Jersey say a dispute between two friends over $8 ended when one stabbed the other in the back.

Hamilton police tell The Times of Trenton (http://bit.ly/1K89HlY) that the stabbing occurred Saturday night. It started as a verbal argument in an apartment but soon turned physical and spilled out into the street.

Police say 19-year-old Daesean Lynch faces aggravated assault and weapons charges. His bail is set at $25,000. It's not clear if he has an attorney.

The 25-year-old who was stabbed was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
