Wisconsin football coach Gary Andersen appears to be fitting in just fine at his new home.

Andersen is getting his 23rd-ranked team ready for the season opener Aug. 31 against Massachusetts. He took over for Bret Bielema, who left Wisconsin following seven seasons in December to take the Arkansas job.

Enter Andersen, who arrived from Utah State. He led the resurgent Aggies to a school-record 11 victories last season to cap a four-year run.

Linebacker Chris Borland says Andersen has been an honest and straightforward coach. Andersen can display a soft-spoken and mild-mannered demeanor off the field, but he says he's passionate on the field.

Fans seem to have accepted him. One Badger backer even carved a likeness of Andersen's face into a corn maze for a unique Wisconsin welcome.
