Stephon Whyatt came off the bench to score a season-high 21 points — 12 in the second half — and Ronnie Drinnon scored a career-high 19 as St. Francis (Pa.) raced away from LIU Brooklyn 83-64 on Saturday.

Drinnon scored 13 points after halftime when the Red Flash (9-18, 7-7 Northeast Conference) pulled way. Malik Harmon added 18 points on 4-of-5 3-point shooting and he and Whyatt each had five assists.

The Blackbirds (8-18, 3-10) led for much of the first half until a 3-pointer from Harmon and two by Ben Millaud-Meunier scrapped St. Francis into the lead, 19-17, which soon grew to 41-23 by halftime.

Jason Brickman led the Blackbirds with 23 points and five of the team's seven assists — his 38th straight game with at least five assists. Brickman passed Maryland's Steve Blake for fifth in the NCAA career assists list with 975.
