Minneapolis, MN – Minnesota Vikings safety Tyrell Johnson was arrested early Tuesday morning on a driving while impaired charge, according to Hennepin County jail records.
Johnson was received at the jail at 3:17 a.m. local time and booked on fourth- degree DWI. He was released around two hours later.
A court date has been set for November 1st.
The 26-year-old Johnson, who is in his fourth year with the Vikings, dropped a potential game-saving interception Sunday in Minnesota's loss to Tampa Bay.
The Arkansas State product has 99 tackles and two interceptions in 40 career games.
