Updated

Two new bouts have been added to UFC 192 in Houston, headlined by a pair of former flyweight title contenders facing off as Joseph Benavidez will take on Ali Bagautinov. Rose Namajunas also returns to face Angela Hill on Oct. 3.

UFC officials announced the new fights via the Houston Chronicle on Monday.

Benavidez will look to score his fourth win in a row when he returns to fight in Texas in October. The former title contender has reeled off three straight victories over ranked opponents, including his most recent win over John Moraga at UFC 187 in May.

Bagautinov returns to action more than a year after his last fight, when he was defeated by flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and then suspended for a year for his use of performance-enhancing drugs.

Now, he will look to get back in action and redeem his name when he faces Benavidez.

Also added to the card is a strawweight women's bout between Namajunas and Hill, who are both looking to get back in the win column following losses.

Namajunas hasn't fought since last December, when she fell to former champion Carla Esparza in 'The Ultimate Fighter' finale. Namajunas was set to return at UFC 187 before her scheduled opponent, Nina Ansaroff, fell off the card due to illness.

Hill has gone 1-1 since joining the UFC roster, but suffered her first professional defeat back in June when she fell to Tecia Torres by unanimous decision.

Both bouts join a growing UFC 192 fight card headlined by light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier facing Alexander Gustafsson in a five-round main event title bout.
