Twente captures Fer from Feyenoord

Enschede, Netherlands – Twente signed Feyenoord midfielder Leroy Fer on Wednesday in a deal worth a little over $7 million.

The 21-year-old made his debut for Feyenoord in 2007 when he was 17, and he went on to score 14 goals in 103 Eredivisie appearances.

Fer has represented the Netherlands at the Under-17, U-19 and U-21 levels.
