Carmelo Anthony made five three-pointers en route to 27 points, leading Team USA to a 100-78 victory over Spain in exhibition play.

LeBron James added 25 points and seven assists for the Americans, who went 13- of-23 from beyond the arc. Kevin Durant donated 13 points and eight rebounds.

"We still got time," James said. "We still got a couple more days before we actually open up but our chemistry is really good right now; our cohesiveness is improving. We'll be ready once the games begin."

Pau Gasol and Serge Ibaka ended with 19 and 16 points, respectively, for Spain.

Tuesday's game was a rematch of the gold-medal game four years ago in Beijing. The Americans pulled out a 118-107 victory over Spain in 2008 to capture the gold.

Spain led by as many as nine in the first quarter on Tuesday, but Team USA ended the frame on an 8-3 spurt to get within two.

Trailing by four, 26-22, with 7:41 to play in the second frame, the Americans went on a 22-7 run to go in front. Kobe Bryant capped the flurry with a layup to make it a 44-33 game.

Team USA took a 48-40 lead into the locker room after shooting 52.6 percent from the field in the second stanza.

The Americans led by as many as 22 in the second half while cruising to victory.

"Today was one of those games that as a team, as a unit, we really tried to lock in from the start," Anthony said. "I think we came out a little bit too focused, a little bit overzealous at the beginning and they jumped on us quick. They came out with a lot of intensity and got a some easy shots, easy baskets. Once we settled down and made a couple plays defensively, got back to our comfort zone, we didn't look back from there."

Since the Dream Team debuted in 1992 with legendary NBA stars, the U.S. has gone 42-1 in exhibition games.

Team USA's first game at the London Olympics is July 29 vs. France.
