Storm in East postpones CIT first-round between Fairfield and Kent State until Wednesday
KENT, Ohio – A winter storm has postponed Fairfield's game against Kent State in the first round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament until Wednesday.
The game was scheduled for Tuesday at Kent State's M.A.C. center on campus, but bad weather in the East forced a delay in Fairfield's travel plans. The team had been expected to arrive in Ohio on Monday night, but won't be arriving until Tuesday afternoon.
The game will be played on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The Golden Flashes (20-13) were beaten in the semifinals of the Mid-American Conference tournament by eventual champion Akron.
