Monchengladbach, Germany – Monchengladbach has secured the month loan.
The Finland international joins Monchengladbach after the club announced this past week that Marco Reus would be moving to Borussia Dortmund next summer, leaving a void that the club hopes Ring can help to fill.
Reus leads Gladbach with 10 goals this season, but the team will have 18 months to evaluate Ring before having the option to make the move permanent.
The 20-year-old Ring has been capped six times by Finland and scored two goals in 27 appearances for HJK.
