The latest chapter of the Louisville escort scandal unfolded on Tuesday morning when ESPN published a story with five former Louisville players and recruits confirming the allegations Katina Powell made in her book, "Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen."

Louisville head coach Rick Pitino spoke to ESPN and Yahoo Sports on Tuesday afternoon and pleaded for Andre McGee, the former Louisville staffer Powell claims paid her to provide strippers for private parties, to come forward and "tell the truth."

McGee served on the Louisville coaching staff from 2010-14 as both a graduate assistant and director of basketball operations. In 2014, he was hired as an assistant coach at Missouri-Kansas City. UMKC has put him on administrative leave. McGee has yet to comment on the matter, but Pitino said in a press conference on Oct. 2 that McGee denied the allegations when the two spoke.
