The New England Revolution and Houston Dynamo traded second-half goals to split the points in a 1-1 draw at Gillette Stadium on Saturday.

After a scoreless opening period, Saer Sene got the Revs off the mark in the 64th minute by running on to Lee Nguyen's pass to the right side of the penalty area and curling a brilliant left-footed strike into the far upper corner.

But the lead lasted just 12 minutes as Will Bruin equalized for the Dynamo with his eighth goal of the campaign. Boniek Garcia collected a failed clearance and picked out Bruin in the center of the box, allowing the UCLA product to fire home from close range.

The even scoreline means that Houston maintains its fourth-place position in the Eastern Conference by improving to 44 points, three points better than New England.
