The Cincinnati Reds activated catcher Ryan Hanigan from the 15-day disabled list on Friday.

Hanigan missed a month with a sprained left wrist. It was the second time he landed on the DL this season, as a strained left oblique shelved him for parts of April and May.

Prior to his latest injury, Hanigan was batting .193 with two home runs and 14 RBI over 46 games.

To make room on the roster, the Reds placed catcher Corky Miller on the 15-day DL with a right quad contusion.
