Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Nashville Predators announced Monday that forward Mike Fisher will miss 4-to-6 months with a ruptured Achilles tendon.
Predators general manager David Poile said in a statement that Fisher suffered the injury during a training session and had surgery last week.
Fisher had 20 goals and 29 assists in 75 games for Nashville last season.
The 34-year-old has registered 226 goals and 255 assists in 887 career games with Ottawa and Nashville.
