New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Orlando Magic forward Kyle O'Quinn was fined $15,000 by the NBA for hitting Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin in the face during a game on Wednesday night.

The NBA said Thursday that O'Quinn's fine was "for making excessive contact above the shoulders" on Griffin.

He was given a flagrant-2 foul and ejected from the game with 5:54 remaining in the third quarter after hitting Griffin in the face with his forearm as the Clippers forward went up for a shot in the paint.

The Clippers won the game 114-86.
