Nadal, Federer ease into fourth round at Aussie Open

Melbourne, Australia – Former world No. 1s Rafael Nadal and set winners in third-round action Friday at the Australian Open.

Nadal, seeded second, cruised past Lukas Lacko of Slovakia, 6-2, 6-4, 6-2, while the third-seeded Federer was a 7-6 (8-6), 7-5, 6-3 over Ivo Karlovic of Croatia.

Nadal owns 10 career Grand Slam titles, six behind Federer.
