Seoul, South Korea – Sixth seed Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez and unseeded Galina Voskoboeva of Kazakhstan will meet in Sunday's final at the Korea Open.
The Spaniard Martinez Sanchez breezed past Czech Klara Zakopalova 6-3, 6-2, while Voskoboeva ousted fifth-seeded Slovenian Polona Hercog 6-1, 6-4.
Martinez Sanchez will be vying for her fifth career title and second this year. She took the clay court event in Bad Gastein back in July, upping her record in championship matches to 4-1.
Voskoboeva is making her first career appearance in a WTA singles final.
This week's champion will earn a first prize of $37,000.
