Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bears could be going into an important early-season game without the services of both of their playmaking wide receivers.
Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery each figure to be game-time decisions for the Bears in Sunday's showdown with the San Francisco 49ers, with the team listing both wideouts as questionable on the final injury report.
Marshall sprained his right ankle during last week's 23-20 overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills, while Jeffery was forced to exit the contest after straining his left hamstring in the second half.
Jeffery appears to have the better chance of the two of suiting up against the 49ers after putting in a limited practice on Friday. Marshall missed a third consecutive session.
Both receivers eclipsed over 1,250 receiving yards last season, with Marshall finishing the campaign with 100 catches and 12 touchdowns.
Backup wideout Josh Morgan is less likely to play due to a groin injury that has rendered him doubtful for Sunday's matchup, and Chicago will definitely be minus a pair of starters on the offensive line as well.
Center Roberto Garza and left guard Matt Slauson were both ruled out for the game after each sustained ankle sprains that forced them to leave last week's loss.
