The Orlando Magic signed free-agent guards Larry Hughes and Gabe Pruitt to contracts on Friday.

Hughes, a 12-year veteran, averaged 9.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game last season with the New York Knicks and Charlotte Bobcats.

Pruitt, the 32nd overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, played two seasons with the Boston Celtics where he averaged 2.0 points per game in limited minutes.

In addition, the Magic signed rookie second-round draft picks DeAndre Liggins and Justin Harper.

Harper was acquired in a trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
