Kolk leads NAC past Den Haag

A goal in each half from Santi Kolk 0 home win over Den Haag on Saturday.

Kolk found the net with a header after six minutes and then turned provider five minutes later to set up a goal for Kees Luijckx.

The lead was stretched to 3-0 midway through the second half when Kolk put his name on the scoresheet for a second time after being set up by Jeffrey Sarpong.

NAC was in complete control, and after twice being denied a fourth goal by the woodwork, the hosts scored two minutes into stoppage time courtesy of Eric Botteghin, moving them three points above the bottom three.

De Graafschap closed to within eight points of safety after winning 2-0 at Roda with goals from Rydell Poepon and Soufian El Hassnaoui, while Nwofor Uche scored twice in the opening 30 minutes of Venlo's 3-1 triumph over Heracles.

NEC climbed to 12th in Saturday's other match after getting two goals from Leroy George in a 4-0 win against Groningen, which lost for the fourth time in five games.
