'I'm glad it's over': Wade and the Heat start moving on after 27-game winning streak ends

For Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat, there was one overwhelming feeling when their 27-game winning streak ended.

They were relieved.

Sure, there was some disappointment, given the probability that the Heat will never experience a streak like that again, considering they occur in the NBA about once every 41 years.

And whether they were believed or not, the Heat insisted that the streak meant almost nothing to them, even as they closed in on the 33-game record held by the Los Angeles Lakers of 1971-72. Whenever asked about chasing history, Heat players would usually give some sort of answer about how another title is all that matters to them.

The playoffs start in about three weeks. Even after this streak, Miami says it has to get better by then.
