Hamburg defender Rajkovic has ban upheld
Hamburg, Germany – Hamburg defender Slobodan Rajkovic had his match ban upheld Tuesday, as the DFB rejected his appeal following a red card against Kaiserslautern on Sunday.
Rajkovic was sent off in the 22nd minute of the 1-1 draw with Kaiserslautern, and will now miss games against Bayer Leverkusen, Hoffenheim, and Hannover for the struggling Bundesliga club.
The 22-year-old Serbian international has started eight league matches in his first season in Hamburg.
Hamburg has just two wins from 11 league games, and is just two points off the bottom of the standings.
