ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Team 990 radio station in Montreal and TSN are reporting Jaroslav Halak will get the start Friday in the Canadiens' net for Game 5 against Washington. The Capitals lead the series 3-1. Montreal's morning skate at Verizon Center starts at 11:30 a.m.

Halak replaces Carey Price, who gave up four goals on 36 shots in Game 4 and took two unsportsmanlike penalties in the third period.

Halak won Game 1 at Verizon Center with 45 saves on 47 shots, but since then has allowed nine goals on 50 shots. He was pulled halfway through Game 3 when he gave up three goals on four shots in a span of 7:27. He has allowed seven goals on the last 27 shots he has faced.

Asked this morning if the Capitals have planted the seed of doubt in Halak's mind, Alex Ovechkin said, "I don't know. We will see tonight."
