Kansas City, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Game 3 of the American League Championship Series between the Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium has been postponed due to rain.

Wei-Yin Chen was scheduled to take the hill for the O's -- who are facing a 2-0 series deficit after dropping both games at Camden Yards to begin the best-of-seven set. Jeremy Guthrie was tabbed to start for the Royals, who have yet to lose in the 2014 postseason.

Weather permitting, Game 3 will be played on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET, with Game 4 set for Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET and Game 5, if necessary, will be played on Thursday at 4 p.m. ET.

If the series goes back to Baltimore, Game 6 and Game 7 will be played as scheduled on Friday and Saturday.
