Milan, Italy – Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan completed year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 32-year-old joins the 2010 Champions League winners as a replacement for Samuel Eto'o, who signed a huge contract with Russian side Anzhi earlier this summer.
Forlan, who has been capped over 80 times by Uruguay, won the Golden Ball at the 2010 World Cup and helped his team win the Copa America this summer.
He spent time with Manchester United and Villarreal before moving to Atletico in 2007, where he went on to score 74 goals in over 130 appearances.
