Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline reportedly suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament in his knee during Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

Hartline was hurt in the first quarter of Miami's season-ending 20-7 loss. He had two catches for 38 yards before exiting.

According to the Miami Herald, surgery will not be required.

Hartline finished the year with 76 catches for 1,016 yards and four touchdowns. He became the fifth Dolphins player to eclipse 1,000 yards receiving in back-to-back seasons, joining Mark Duper, Mark Clayton, Irving Fryar and Brandon Marshall.
