Tottenham signed striker Jermain Defoe to a new contract on Thursday through the 2014-15 season.

Defoe, 29, is currently in his second stint with Tottenham, and has scored 119 goals for the club. He first played for Spurs from 2004-08 and returned to the club in 2009.

Capped 49 times for England, Defoe is 10th on the all-time scoring chart for Tottenham. He has 16 international goals for England.

Defoe started his career at West Ham, and has also played at Bournemouth and Portsmouth.
