Danny Amendola says he doesn't think much about having replaced Wes Welker as New England Patriots slot receiver.

On Sunday night, they'll be on opposite sidelines when Welker and the Denver Broncos visit Gillette Stadium.

Welker signed as a free agent with the Broncos after six seasons with the Patriots. Amendola joined New England as a free agent from the St. Louis Rams in March and has just 29 catches after missing four games with injuries. But he's played in the past three games.

Welker has 61 catches and nine touchdown receptions, and is probable for the game after suffering a concussion in last Sunday night's 27-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
