Montreal, QC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Montreal Canadiens added depth at forward by acquiring Torrey Mitchell and Brian Flynn in separate trades with the Buffalo Sabres.

The Canadiens gave up prospect Jack Nevins and a seventh-round draft pick in 2016 for Mitchell after adding Flynn for a fifth-round pick in next year's draft.

Mitchell, 30, has six goals and seven assists in 51 games this season, while the 26-year-old Flynn has five goals and 12 assists in 54 games.
