Browns RB Hillis active for Sunday's game

Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis is active for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Hillis hasn't played since October 16 against Oakland due to a hamstring injury.

It seemed like Hillis was going to miss his sixth straight game, as head coach Pat Shurmur initially ruled him out on Monday.

After missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday, Hillis showed up as a limited participant on Friday's injury report. Shurmur then backed off his statement from earlier in the week and said Hillis would be a game-time decision.

Fellow running backs Montario Hardesty (calf) and Owen Marecic (head) are also active. Hardesty has been out for the last three weeks.
