Oakland, CA – The Boston Red Sox recalled infielder Ivan De Jesus from Triple-A Pawtucket on Sunday.
Acquired from the Dodgers last week as part of the nine-player trade that sent Adrian Gonzalez to Los Angeles, he batted .273 with four RBI in 23 games with the Dodgers.
In seven games with Pawtucket since being acquired, he was 10-for-26 with five runs scored.
