Luxembourg, Luxembourg (SportsNetwork.com) - Germany's Annika Beck cruised past Barbora Zahlavova Strycova of the Czech Republic in Saturday's final at the Luxembourg Open.

Beck beat Zahlavova Strycova, the No. 4 seed, by a 6-2, 6-1 margin to capture her first WTA title of the season.

Beck played in the Luxembourg final for the second straight year. She lost to former world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki in her first-ever WTA title match at this event in 2013.

It was the second final of the year for Zahlavova Strycova, who lost to Ana Ivanovic at the Wimbledon tune-up in Birmingham. She fell to 1-4 lifetime in title matches, claiming her lone WTA title in 2011 at Quebec City.

Zahlavova Strycova and Beck met just once previously, a three-set win for Beck in the first round of this tournament two years ago.

Beck took home $43,000 with the victory.
