Kyle Barone scored 15 points and Jeff Ledbetter added 14 to carry Idaho to a 59-44 victory over Hawaii on Thursday night.

The Vandals (8-6, 2-1 Western Athletic) held the Rainbow Warriors (9-6, 0-3) to 29.4 percent shooting and outscored Hawaii 25-15 in the second half.

Barone made 6 of 7 shots. Ledbetter sank three of his team's six 3-pointers and grabbed nine rebounds.

Hiram Thompson had nine points to lead the Rainbow Warriors, who fell to 8-2 at home and dropped their third straight game. Hawaii was outrebounded 40-28 and made just three of its 22 3-point attempts.

Hawaii's last lead came with 9:17 left in the first half when Bo Barnes' 3-pointer made it 20-18. However, Idaho scored the next 11 points to surge ahead, 29-20 with 6:36 until halftime. The Vandals led 34-29 at the break. The lead peaked at 19 in the second half.
