Different school, same problem for safety Trey Matthews as the Tigers' expected starter is battling through a hamstring injury during fall camp. Matthews was limited for Tuesday's practice and missed Saturday's scrimmage because of his nagging injury.

"He's doing really good, from a knowledge standpoint he'll be fine," secondary coach Travaris Robinson said Friday, according to AL.com. "We got to get him back going and get him 100 percent and kind of get him going again.

"He's close, not all the way, not all the way 100 percent ready to go yet. Next week he'll be back and we'll get him back going and back up to date. Missed a couple of days."

Matthews is a transfer from Georgia. During his time with the Bulldogs, Matthews was often setback by injuries and was hoping for a fresh start after being dismissed by Mark Richt and Georgia after only one season in Athens.
