Astros' Keuchel is AL Pitcher of the Month

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Houston Astros left-hander Dallas Keuchel was named the American League Pitcher of the Month for April on Monday.

The Astros won all five of the games Keuchel (3-0) started in the first month of the season.

Keuchel had an 0.73 ERA with 22 strikeouts in a league-high 37 innings, becoming the first Astros hurler to win a pitcher of the month award since Wandy Rodriguez in July 2009.
