London, England – Arsenal announced on Friday that the club has completed the signing of Costa Rica striker Joel Campbell.
The 19-year-old joins the Gunners from Costa Rican side Saprissa, while he has also impressed during his time for Costa Rica's Under-20 side as well as the senior national team.
"Joel Campbell has been confirmed as an Arsenal player, with all formal agreements and processes relating to his transfer now complete," read a statement from Arsenal.
Campbell has already earned six caps for Costa Rica's national team, while scoring twice.
