Victoria Justice is making Halloween fun in her new movie “Fun Size.”

The Puerto Rican actress plays Wren, a teenager whose Halloween plans take an unexpected turn when her high-spirited mother makes her baby sit her brother who goes missing in action in a plethora of trick-or-treaters.

The comedy hit theaters on Friday.

Justice says that one of the perks of playing Wren was the opportunity to work alongside comedian Chelsea Handler known for her late night sitcom “Chelsea Lately.”

In the film, Handler plays Joy Justice’s mom.

“I think she is great,” Justice told Fox News Latino about working with Handler. “She’s kind of lost herself and is going through a midlife crisis.”

“I think her relationship [with her mom] is strange,” she added. “She has lost a lot of respect for her mom.”

Justice said that seeing Handler work on set was a “really good” experience professionally adding to her love for the script.

“Chelsea plays the character really well!” Justice said.

“I thought the script was really funny,” said Justice. “I love that it was a teenager coming of age story. “It is what teens go through, the whole young aspect of it.”

“What my character is going through is real and relatable,” the actress added.

The 19-year-old, who rose to fame for being on the Nickelodeon series “Victorious,” says her fans can expect to see more of her character Tori Vega on the show.

“My show ‘Victorious’ is airing still,” Justice told Fox News Latino. “I’m sure a lot of people will remember Tori Vega. That show catapult my career in a lot of ways. It’s appealing to my audience.”

Seeing fellow Latina Jennifer Lopez succeed on-and-off the screen is something that Justice says truly inspires her.

“She balances her music career, her tour, and her great films,” said Justice.

“She is an established respected actress who is admired,” she added. “She is a business woman and that’s what I want to do.”
