Sinead O'Connor is a shape shifter for sure.

The famously shaved head singer is virtually unrecognizable on the cover of her new album, "I'm Not Bossy, I'm the Boss."

"Sinead contacted me a few weeks ago having seen some of my work," photographer Donal Moloney told FOX411. "We had a ball doing the shoot and she loves the shots."

Moloney said the new promo art is just the tip of the iceberg for O'Connor.

"She's very excited about the album. There's some more amazing shots to come in the near future," he said. "I've never seen her look so good and I'm very proud of the results."

O'Connor said the title of the album was taken from the Ban Bossy campaign.

"Originally I had a different title, The Vishnu Room, but a few months back when I saw the phrase ‘I’m not bossy, I’m the boss’ and became aware of the Ban Bossy campaign, I wished I could re-name the album, since indeed it can be tricky being a female boss," she said in a note on her personal website.

Her new album is slated for release on August 12.
