Kylie Jenner is setting the record straight about Jordyn Woods — her lip kit, that is.
After news broke in February that Woods, 21, allegedly hooked up with Khloé Kardashian‘s then-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, fans noticed the price of the “Jordy” Lip Kit from Kylie Cosmetics had dropped from $27 to $13.50. As Jenner recently told the New York Times, the discount caught her by surprise, too.
“That is just not my character. I would never do something like that and when I saw it, I was like, thrown back,” the beauty mogul, 21, said, explaining the price cut was not related to recent affairs. “Jordyn knows I didn’t actually put it on sale.”

Jenner said she contacted an employee upon learning about the price cut, also noting that the product had gone on sale weeks prior as the company switched its packaging from white to black.
As a result of the cheating scandal, Kardashian-Jenner loyalists left scathing reviews for the Woods-inspired item, which has since returned to the price of $27.
“THIS SHADE SMELLS LIKE BETRAYAL,” wrote one reviewer, while another penned, “1010 amazing lip kit for stealing my bff’s sisters boyfriend!”

Woods appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith’s “Red Table Talk” in early March to share her side of the story, stating Thompson, 28, had kissed her.
“It was a kiss on the lips, but no tongue kiss. No making out,” she said. “I don’t think he’s wrong either because I allowed myself to be in that position. When alcohol is involved, people make dumb moves.”
Though Woods has since moved out of Jenner’s house, the fate of their friendship remains up in the air.

“Once it’s not in the papers I’m pretty sure they’re going to talk,” a source previously told Page Six. “It’s going to take some time to get as close as they were, but I highly doubt she’s going to be as involved in Kardashian life.”
