Gwyneth Paltrow is an actress from movies like “Shakespeare in Love” and “Iron Man” and is also the founder of the lifestyle brand goop. Paltrow is married to producer Brad Falchuk and was previously married to Chris Martin, who she shares her two children: Apple and Moses.

Paltrow was born on September 27, 1972 in Los Angeles, California to producer and director Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner. At the beginning of her career, Paltrow played Rebecca in the movie “Shout” in 1991.

Also in 1991, she was in the Steven Spielberg directed movie “Hook” where she played young Wendy. She then was in “Malice,” “Flesh and Bone,” “Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle,” “Jefferson in Paris,” “Se7en,” “Moonlight and Valentino,” “Hard Eight,” “The Pallbearer,” “Emma,” “Sliding Doors,” “Great Expectations,” “A Perfect Murder,” “Hush,” “Shakespeare in Love” and “The Talented Mr. Ripley” through the 90s.

In the early 2000s, Paltrow was in “Duets,” “Bounce,” “The Anniversary Party,” “Shallow Hal,” “Possession” “View from the Top,” “Sylvia,” “Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow,” “Proof,” “Infamous,” “Running with Scissors” and “The Good Night.” All of these movies led up to Paltrow’s first time appearing as Pepper Potts in the first "Iron Man" movie in 2008. Paltrow continued to play the character in several other Marvel films including “Iron Man 2,” “The Avengers,” “Iron Man 3,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame.”

In between all the Marvel movies, she was in many other films like “Two Lovers,” “Country Strong,” “Contagion,” “Thanks for Sharing” and “Mortdecai.” She has also acted in many television shows like “Glee,” where she played substitute teacher Holly Holliday for a short time and “The Politician,” where she played Georgina Hobart from 2019 to 2020.

Besides her many acting roles, Paltrow also has another role as the founder of Goop. Goop is a lifestyle brand that has grown exponentially over the years. It started out as a weekly newsletter in 2008. Now, it has grown into a business that sells wardrobe, beauty and wellness products, kitchen essentials and more.

Paltrow was previously married to Chris Martin, member of Coldplay and during their time together, they had two children, Apple and Moses, before they got divorced in 2016. Paltrow is now married to Brad Falchuk, a producer who has worked on shows like “Glee,” “American Horror Story” and “Scream Queens.” The two tied the knot in 2018.
