YOKOHAMA, Japan – President Barack Obama is focusing on Russian diplomacy in the final hours of his Asian trip as a nuclear treaty hangs in the balance.
The administration is offering to add billions of dollars into the U.S. nuclear arsenal to woo Republican support.
Obama's trip stretched from the growing democracies of India and Indonesia to economic summits in South Korea and Japan.
Much press coverage focused on what Obama didn't get done.
But the White House says Obama put Asia at the center of his foreign policy, helped forge a global economic strategy and reached billions of Asians with his words.
