Authorities say human remains were found yesterday in a cement-filled 55-gallon drum in the building where a missing New Jersey mom lived with her husband and baby, The New York Post reports.
The grisly discovery comes more than a month after Randy Lehrer was reported missing from her Jersey City apartment after an argument with husband Steven Acuna.
Remains were found in a drum stashed in the basement, prosecutors told the Jersey Journal.
No one has been charged.
Neighbors said neither Acuna nor the couple’s baby daughter have been seen since Lehrer’s Aug. 17 disappearance.
“Knowing there was a body here for a month is crazy,” said one neighbor.
