Investigators say the man who shot three co-workers at a cold-storage warehouse in southeast Nebraska and then fatally shot himself had argued with the woman he shot 11 times.

The Saline County Sheriff's office released an update Tuesday on its investigation of the Sept. 22 shooting.

Investigators say 26-year-old Akouch Kashoual worked closely with 40-year-old Elizabeth Canas at the Americold Logistics plant in Crete. They said there had been "growing tension" between the two and managers met with Kashoual about it.

Canas was in fair condition Tuesday at a Lincoln hospital. The other two victims were released from hospitals last week.
