Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Golden State Warriors have signed center Hilton Armstrong, who had been playing with the club's NBA Development League team in Santa Cruz.

Terms of the deal were not released.

In six games with Santa Cruz, Armstrong averaged 15.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 3.0 blocks.

Armstrong was selected 12th overall in the 2006 draft by the then-New Orleans Hornets. The 29-year-old veteran has played with the Hornets (2006-09), Sacramento Kings (2010), Houston Rockets (2010), Washington Wizards (2010-11) and Atlanta Hawks (2011).

The University of Connecticut product averaged 3.1 points and 2.6 rebounds in 277 NBA games. Armstrong also played the 2012-13 campaign with Santa Cruz and spent the 2013 preseason with the Indiana Pacers.
