Will Bogan and Ben Boggs scored 12 points apiece and Valparaiso shot 56 percent from the field Friday night in beating Milwaukee 71-40.

The Crusaders (17-6, 7-2 Horizon), who had won six in a row before losing Wednesday night at Youngstown State, led by as many as 36 points in Friday's game. Valparaiso led 37-21 at halftime in running its home record to 11-1.

Ryan Broekhoff added 11 points and seven rebounds for the winners. Bobby Capobianco had a game-high nine rebounds and LaVonte Dority contributed five assists.

Jordan Aaron led Milwaukee (5-18, 1-8) with 17 points. The Panthers fell behind to stay 5 minutes into the game in dropping their fifth in a row, and they are 0-11 on the road this season.
