Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Minnesota Timberwolves claimed center Justin Hamilton off waivers on Thursday.

Hamilton has played in 24 games (five starts) this season, averaging 2.8 points and 2.0 rebounds in a limited role with the Heat.

The 24-year-old was traded from Miami to New Orleans on Feb. 19, but was waived before playing a game with the Pelicans.

Minnesota also waived forward Glenn Robinson III.

The 40th overall selection of the 2014 draft averaged just 1.2 points and 4.3 minutes in 25 games with the Timberwolves.
